YOUTH EMPLOYMENT | CEFS ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY CORPORATION

Provides youth 16 thru 24 years of age assistance with developing and achieving career and educational goals. Services to youth include help with: - Attaining a high school diploma, GED, or other credential. - Creating a resume. - Increasing basic skills in reading, math, and language. - Securing employment or post-secondary education/training. - Maintaining contact with participants for 12 months following program completion.

Eligibility

To be eligible to receive services, a youth must be between 16 and 24 years of age, low income, and have one of the following barriers to employment: - Not attending any school. - Dropout. - Basic skills deficient. - Subject to the judicial system. - Homeless. - Pregnant or parenting. - Disabled. - Need assistance to complete an educational program or to secure and hold employment.
