KEEPING THE PROMISE | THE BABY FOLD

Supportive services are provided for any adoptive child living within the 22 county service area to help them stabilize in their home. Services are provided to families formed through: - DCFS adoption. - Subsidized guardianship. - Private domestic adoption. - Foreign adoption. - Out of state adoption. - Intensive services are offered. Some of the more common challenges/presenting problems include: - Attachment difficulties. - Trauma. - ADHD. - Chronic lying or stealing. - Aggression. - Peer problems. - Eating or sleep disturbances. - Sexual acting out. - Fire-setting. - Behavioral problems. - Wetting and defecating issues. - Family adjustment. - Grief resolution. - Learning disabilities.
