Application process
Appointment Required;-- 1. The Family Institute is a member of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBS-IL) Participating Provider Organization. Before the first session, they encourage clients to check with their insurance provider about their coverage for mental health services. 2. If Medicare is the primary insurance, individuals will need to see a therapist who accepts Medicare in order to be covered. Billing must charge Medicare before any secondary insurance companies. 3. A sliding fee is offered to uninsured individuals that are offered services by unlicensed therapists in training.
