Referral required from Round Lake Beach Police, Round Lake Police, Round Lake Heights Police, Round Lake Park Police, Fox Lake Police, Wauconda Police, Lakemoor Police, Gurnee Police, Waukegan Police, and Lake County Sheriff. Documents required: -Referrals from police must come with a completed police report

Set Program Fee: $50 one-time fee

Description

Collaborates with local law enforcement to provide alternative course of action for non-violent juvenile offenders. Participants are referred by law enforcement and attend Teen Court where they are sentenced by a jury of their peers. Sentences are intended to treat the source of delinquent behavior and prevent future offenses. Provides life skills training, mental health counseling, substance use services and community service.
