VIOLENCE INTERVENTION SERVICES | FAMILY COUNSELING SERVICE (FCS) OF AURORA
Services are designed to help men, women, and adolescents who have committed acts of violence against someone else, or who struggle managing feelings of anger and the behaviors that come with those feelings. - Men, Anger, Recovery & Support (MARS): 26-week treatment program; participants can be self-referred or court-ordered. Groups also available in Spanish. - Female Anger Intervention & Recovery (FAIR): 26-week treatment program; participants can be self-referred or court-ordered. - Adult Anger Management: Co-educational group for adults. - Teen Anger Management: Co-educational group for adolescents. - Adult Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Co-educational group for adults who have difficulty regulating their emotions, causing reactive and often self-destructive behaviors. - Teen Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Co-educational group for teens/adolescents who have difficulty regulating their emotions.
