National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Chicago provides a virtual short story group - The Stories of Our Lives for people with mental health symptoms and conditions to connect through reading stories with others about their mental health journey. All support groups are free, safe, and confidential places to talk things through with others, and they are led by people who have had similar experiences too.

NAMI Chicago also offers peer-led support groups and classes virtually and in various locations across Chicago. These sessions foster community and provide safe spaces to discuss mental health, both for individuals living with a mental health condition and for their families and friends.
