Description

Services may include intensive inpatient rehabilitation for individuals severely disabled due to injury or disease, offering 24-hour care and a comprehensive evaluation of abilities and disabilities. Rehabilitation plans may incorporate physical, occupational, speech, or other therapies; education on necessary lifestyle modifications such as diet, exercise, and stress reduction; guidance on using adaptive devices to maximize functional abilities; and counseling for individuals and their significant others to support positive adjustment to their condition.
