River City Community Development Center provides special expense support for individuals impacted by violence or crime in the West Humboldt community. This includes funeral expense support, school expense support, mentoring/counseling, food/housing, and employment assistance.

River City Community Development Center serves the West Humboldt Park community and provides children's programs that promote future career success. Programs include apprenticeships, after school care, summer camp, expense support, and mentorship. For active students, R City also offers academic scholarship opportunities.
