HOME SERVICES | DIVISION OF REHABILITATION SERVICES (DRS)
Home Services assists people with severe disabilities so they can remain in their homes and be as independent as possible. The program tries to prevent unnecessary nursing home placement by offering in-home care. Services include: - personal caregivers. - home health home. - delivered meals. - assistive equipment. - respite services. Services are also available for persons with HIV/AIDS and/or traumatic brain injuries.

Eligibility
Severely disabled individuals under the age of 60 who need help with daily living activities. Many are at risk of moving into a nursing home or other facility. Individuals age 60 and older with a diagnosis of traumatic brain injury, HIV or AIDS may also be eligible. For others age 60 and older, please contact the Illinois Department on Aging.
