Hektoen Institute for Medical Research - Child and Family Connections #9 provides free developmental evaluations for children. If a child is determined eligible, an individual family plan is developed to address the child's delay with services being provided primarily in their home. Some services may be offered during after-hours.

Hektoen Institute of Medicine provides to Chicago's Southwest, West, and Loop areas early intervention services including developmental screenings for children under 3 years old.  This location serves as an intake agency for the Illinois Early Intervention System. Families are evaluated and those who are eligible are connected with a service coordinator and matched with local service providers.
