Violence Recovery Services - Heartland Human Care Services - Bridgeport Office

Heartland Human Care Services' Violence Recovery Services (VRS) provides a continuum of services, including counseling, case management, and parenting education to individuals and families who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault or abuse, or community violence and trauma. Participants can attend weekly sessions from 45-60 minutes per appointment. VRS is funded by the Department of Family & Support Services (DFSS), Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA), and White Sox Charities-McCormick Foundation, and United Way Neighborhood Grant (Brighton Park) and all services are free of charge.

VRS is open to referrals from internal and external organizations and programs as well as self-referrals from community residents.
