Provides education and consumer assistance designed to facilitate enrollment of county residents in the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace through the In-Person Counseling Program. Access to health insurance through the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace is one of the many changes in the health care and health insurance fields made possible by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). People in need of assistance due to language barriers, technology disadvantages, or a lack of understanding of health insurance can arrange to meet an In-Person Counselor to assist them.
