La Casa Norte's Public Health Ambassadors youth outreach program works to curb health inequities in Chicago. Based at the Community Assistance Office, youth ages 16 through 24 earn a stipend while training to be advocates for their neighborhoods. Youth ambassadors help their communities access vaccines and other resources, including rental and internet assistance.
