Application process

Individuals can use their computers and get support from a Digital Navigator. Additionally, if you are a Chicago resident you can call the bilingual Chicago Connected Community Help Desk via (312) 440-2416 or via email at [email protected] to get help or to set up an in-person meeting at a lab or at a different location.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago now offers in-person computer labs, known as Tech Hubs, at several YMCA locations to help community members gain access to technology and digital literacy resources. Community members can use these free resources to handle essential tasks, such as registering for a COVID-19 vaccine, accessing digital literacy resources, job searching, grocery shopping, and more.
