The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago (YMCA) was founded to provide community members with opportunities for growth and support. Today, the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago operates 14 centers, five camps, and nearly 100 extension sites, making it one of Chicago's largest social organizations. Over 200,000 YMCA members and more than half a million Chicagoans rely on the Y each year for social guidance and personal empowerment.
