Salvation Army provides a variety of assistance for low-income individuals and families facing crisis situations including assisted with clothing, food (vouchers), furniture, and some household items. Personal items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, razors, diapers, etc. may be available. Funds may be available for assistance with heating bills including gas, electricity, wood, fuel oil, propane; also in some cases disconnection bills.

To-go meals are provided to qualified individuals. The meal must meet 1/3 of the daily recommended dietary needs of adults 60 and over, including the requirements of the Older Americans Act and state and local laws.

Provides a full food order, which consists of fresh produce, frozen meats, dairy products, canned and boxed items, are available every week.

Weekly distributions of food for persons in need. This is a Plan of Choice program where shoppers choose their own food/ products.

Customer choice food pantry with a range of items including boxed/canned goods, frozen meat, and produce as well as personal hygiene supplies. If patrons cannot come into the pantry, a box can be packed and scheduled to be picked up. Holiday boxes available for regular patrons only.

Distributes prepared and perishable food at designated distribution sites in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Provides foods such as fruits, vegetables, dairy products, bread, etc.

Food pantry, providing shelf-stable pantry items. In addition, each location offers a variety of breads and treats from local bakeries.

Provides assistance to Warren County residents who meet county guidelines. Assistance is given to those in need and poor who are unable to get assistance from other sources or that assistance is being delayed. Applicants must apply for all possible state and federal programs they may qualify for in order to receive assistance and comply with these programs.

Assistance includes the services food pantry, rental assistance, utility assistance (must have a disconnect and made payments), medical, dental, and prescription assistance, as well as information and referral for such needs.

Veterans that have served during designated times and have an honorable discharge would need to contact the office of Warren County Veteran Affairs to complete the application with them.

Advises and aids veterans and their dependents in applying for federal benefits through compensation or pension claims. Emergency financial assistance for basic necessities such as rent and utility payments, burial assistance, and food may be available. Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws.

Provides a food pantry.

Provides a weekly warehouse grocery store pantry. Available pantry items may include, perishable food products, non-perishable food products, fruits, vegetables, breads, toiletries, cleaning products.

Offers a nutritional variety of USDA food available to individuals or families on the first of each month. This is limited to once a month per household during regular food pantry hours.
Provides Farmer's Market vouchers to persons 60 and older during the months of June and July.

A client-choice food pantry in which individuals can choose the food and household items they desire. Guests must bring their own bags or boxes for groceries.

Offers food delivery to low income seniors, low income housing projects, and people shut in due to illness or medical handicap.
