Provides food distribution to food pantries
Feeding America Network food banks solicit donations of consumer products, transports them to a warehouse and distributes them to organizations feeding the needy. The St. Louis Area Foodbank collects and supplies donated food to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters throughout the bi-state community.
Works with approximately 200 member agencies to distribute food throughout 16 counties.

Offers to bridge the gap between abundance and hunger by collecting and redistributing surplus food to food access partners like meal sites, pantries, shelters, and youth programs

Programs include: Buddy Packs, Food 4 Kids, The Mobile Food Pantry, Comodity Food Program, Commodity Senior Food Program, and the Central Pantry in Columbia.
River Bend Food Bank leads the community-wide effort to end hunger in eastern Iowa and western Illinois by: - Leveraging partnerships to help people in need stabilize their lives. - Engaging the public in hunger issues. - Advocating on behalf of hungry people. - Distributing surplus food through a network of hunger-relief agency partners and programs. - Striving to end hunger.

Distributes more than 23 million meals annually throughout a 23-county service area in eastern Iowa and western Illinois through a network of over 300 partners in food pantries, schools, senior residences, and community action organizations. Partner pantries are located in all counties of the service area. Call and speak to the receptionist to find a pantry nearby, or use the map tool online.

Agency distribution network includes non-profit agency partners in 16 counties that support efforts to distribute food in Southeast Nebraska. Nonprofit partners cover all segments of the community - food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, residential treatment centers, and senior and youth programs; partnerships help distribute safe food and household/personal care items as effectively as possible.

Mobile pantries are a distribution in which a Food Bank truck delivers food at no charge to children, families and seniors. Volunteers pitch in to distribute supplies to families. There are mobile pantries at 4 different Lincoln sites each week and 25 sites throughout Southeast Nebraska.

Provides food pantry referrals online and by phone, and assists with the state funded food assistance program application at various locations. Manages food collection and distribution to area food pantries. Maintains an online listing of mobile markets/pop-up pantries.
