-- For residents of Nebraska City, home delivered meals must be arranged through the city's Meals on Wheels program.

Metropolitan Asian Family Services (MAFS) provides nutritionally balanced lunches along with an opportunity for seniors to make friends and socialize to break free from isolation. These meals are freshly prepared by trained cooks under strict hygienic conditions. Meals are available for delivery to participants as well.

Customers may hire their own PAs to assist in their homes, based on the service plan they have jointly developed with their DRS rehabilitation counselor. Specialized services for people with HIV/AIDS and/or traumatic brain injuries (TBI) are also provided.

Home-delivered meals for seniors aged 60 and over; provides a hot lunch meal.

Senior Care Options program available to older Nebraskans who are considering admission to a nursing home and may be eligible for Medicaid assistance. Clients are screened according to a standardized assessment process developed by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Care Managers arrange for services, which allow older adults to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible.

Housekeeping and supportive services to include grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, transportation and personal care.

Family Caregiver Support for those caring for an aging adult or grandparents caring for a minor child. Provides information, assistance, support group, respite care, and supplemental services.

Home delivered meals are provided to homebound by reason of illness, disability or isolation. The meals meet 1/3 of the daily dietary recommended needs of adults 60 years and over and the requirements of the Older Americans Act and state and local laws.

Food pantry serving the people who live in the greater Sarpy County and Ralston community. Provides clients with groceries, diapers, meats, dairy products and personal hygiene products every 30 days.

Offers a Pet Food Pantry when items are available.

Provides a senior center where seniors can come to share companionship, meals, and recreational activities. Services include congregate and home delivered meals, recreational activities that include a pool and exercise equipment, quilting, painting, bingo, exercise classes, and bowling.
