Vineyard Church of Elgin serves a daily breakfast to the community consisting of a hot meal in the colder months and sandwiches, fruits, and treats in the summer. Guests may be able to be provided with toiletries, clothing, and shoes, depending on the availability of donations.

Village of Steger Community Outreach Program offers on-site prepared meals to food-insecure individuals for free.
Franciscan Outreach's three shelters provide a safe place to sleep and three meals a day. Additional services include shower facilities, clothing, onsite health clinic, mail services, 24-hour shelter access, bins and lockers for personal belongings, and a room for personal pets. Individuals will also be able to access Franciscan Outreach's other services such as case management, housing programs, support groups and certain types of healthcare services (mental healthc counseling, substance use disorder (SUD) treatment).
Greater Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church provides free prepared food and hot meals on-site.
Martin Temple AME Zion Church offers on-site prepared meals to food-insecure individuals.
San Lucas United Church of Christ operates a soup kitchen on Tuesdays. Everyone is welcome.
Hyde Park Seventh Day Adventist Church hosts a soup kitchen that provides on-site prepared meals to food insecure individuals on Wednesdays.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are offeredevery day of the year for Mission shelter guests, life recovery residents, and any hungry person in the community. Special holiday meals are provided at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
Hot, nutritious meals served daily to those in need. On weekends and holidays, only lunch is served.

Jones Memorial Community Center offers free weekly meals served on Fridays at 11:00am to the homeless and those in need.
Provides meals three days per week. Tuesdays and Thursdays are hot meals, Wednesdays are sandwiches. Use 1st Street entrance.

Provides a space where people can come to get lunch, do laundry, check email, or make photocopies. Also provides heated facilities during extreme cold weather and air conditioned facilities during extreme hot weather. Hospitality House is located at Kumler United Methodist Church, 600 N. 5th Street, Springfield. It is a community fellowship that welcomes all, but particularly people struggling with poverty. Services include a light meal and fellowship.
Food is available every 90 days. However, partial orders are available, at pantry's discretion, within 90 days. People will leave with food. Breakfast is also available as of March 1, 2022. Mon, Wed, Fri: 9-11am.
A network of nonprofit organizations and faith communities in Elgin, IL who work together to support efforts that "nourish our neighbors." Host sites vary, allowing the Elgin Community access to breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week. All locations are in Elgin.
Provides nutritionally balanced meals to residents of the emergency shelter and people from the community who are hungry.
Provides free lunches to anyone in the community 5 days a week.
Provides up to three hot meals per day for individuals and families in need. Beyond simply providing meals, Lazarus House staff can also provide telephone and in-person support to individuals and families seeking assistance, advice, referrals to community resources, or simply emotional support for themselves or family and friends.
Prepares and serves breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks each day for area homeless people. Also provides food preparation training at the Aurora location.
