Lawndale Christian Development Corporation (LCDC) is a non-profit that develops & manages affordable housing options in the Lawndale community. Their waitlist does not have a set closing date but does not remain open on a continual basis (as long as the pre-application is available on their website, the waitlist is open, but it may close depending on how many applications they receive). The current estimated waitlist time that folks may have to wait until being matched with an available unit is around 2ish years (but this may vary depending on a number of factors).

The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) will be re-opening its site-based wait lists for one-bedroom project-based voucher (PBV) units for seniors age 55 and older at the following locations: Franklin Towers - 9535 W. Franklin Avenue, Franklin Park, IL 60131Henrich House - 1301 Ashland Avenue, Des Plaines, IL 60016All completed applications will be accepted, but only 150 applicants will be placed on the waitlist. A computer-generated lottery system will be used to determine which applicants are selected and the order of applicants on the waiting list. For those selected, applicants who are currently on the HACC's Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program wait list will receive a preference.
