Provides clothing to individuals and families who are living below federal poverty level.


Program also assesses and evaluates each person's annual household income, current job occupation, and provides community-based referrals for individuals to strategically overcome financial difficulties. Information packets and educational awareness offered through this program enable low-income individuals and families to maximize their welfare benefits, and to seek avenues to move above the federal poverty level.

Food and clothing pantry.

Provides food and personal hygiene grooming products, including diapers, to families in need. Food vouchers to local grocery stores for fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, milk, bread, potatoes, cheese, laundry soap, dish soap and toilet paper may also be available.

Provides a resale operation with regular free pick up of donated items (drop off location available). Also can assist with clothing items for needy veteran families (through the DAV Service Officer). Calls for donations must be made to DAV office. Store cannot make donations of clothes or other items unless directed by officers. Accepts vouchers only from Polk County General Assistance.

Offers a drop-in community center that provides, haircuts, harm reduction supplies, hygiene and hair kits, clothes and shoes, period products.

Provides clean, properly fitting clothing to individuals and families. Clothing options are available for work, school, and daily life.
Offers one-on-one coaching, interview preparation, mock interviews, and career guidance from qualified professionals. Monthly Keys to Success Workshops are provided to give women the skills, confidence, networks, and motivation they need to succeed in an interview.

Clients work with volunteer styling consultants in a one-on-one appointment to choose a complete interview outfit in an inclusive, body-positive, and accessible environment. Stylists provide clients with either an internship and/or employment styling once they have secured employment.

Offers clothing items, cooking utensils, bedding items, toys, etc. to those in need for a minimal cost. Revenue received is used for other household crisis situations.

Provides clothing to those in need, and also has a Thrift Store that offers clothing, household goods, furniture, books, toys, AV materials, antiques, and miscellaneous items.

Clothing provided to those in need at no cost.

Offers clothing, shoes, and coats are provided to those in need at no cost. Shoppers are allowed to shop twice per month.

Donations of new and gently used coats and other winter wear items are being accepted. All sizes from infant to adult are needed. Coat donations accepted until November 2024.

Coat Distribution will be open in November 2024, after the coat drive, to Veterans and their families.

Offers non-perishable food items such as breakfast bars, canned soups, canned meat (SPAM, chicken, tuna), rice, pasta, gluten-free items, as well as personal care items and toiletries are available.

During winter months, cold weather clothing such as coats, hats, scarves, socks, mittens, and gloves for adults and children are available, depending on donations.

Supports survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in achieving financial independence.

Assists with accessing benefits, gaining skills, and advancing employment goals, ultimately helping families reduce dependency on their abusers.

Offers free and confidential pregnancy testing, birthing classes. Also helps with material items (i.e., diapers, formula, clothing, etc.) on a limited basis, provides limited ultrasound, STD testing and treatment, and parenting Classes (court mandated and voluntary).
