- Coordinated Point of Entry: Acts as a centralized hub for all people experiencing homelessness in McLean County. During business hours, callers experiencing homelessness should typically be transferred to Homeless Services. Homeless individuals and families may also be directed to Coordinated Entry to be placed on a housing-related prioritization list.
- Outreach for the Homeless: Provides assessment and linkage for people who are HUD homeless. Administers funds for direct services through case managers at the local shelters. Helps in obtaining a birth certificate and ID cards for clients seeking a clearance card in order to stay at one of the local shelters. Can sometimes assist with relocations, bus tokens for medical appointments, and homeless verifications. Completes VI-SPDAT housing assessments with clients in order to add them to the Prioritization List.
