Persons may consult with their local driver's license examiner if special translation arrangements are needed.

REAL ID can be obtained at the DOT office. Beginning October 1, 2020, TSA will require that you show a REAL ID-compliant license or ID to go through airport security. The REAL ID will also allow entrance into Federal or nuclear facilities. Documents required include proof of identification (official birth certificate with a seal, valid U.S. passport or most recent U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services immigration or refugee document), proof of social security number (social security card or W-2/1099), proof of residency (2 items showing your name and address where you live, no PO boxes e.g. utility bill, credit card bill statement, pay stub), proof of any legal name changes (marriage certificate, divorce decree, court order under petition for name change).

ID Card Facility handles issuing of Military ID Cards to Active Duty Military and their Families, Reservists and their Families, Retirees and their Families, DoD Civilians and Civilian Contractors.

A general emergency assistance & case management program for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Assistance includes: - Birth certificates. - Photo ID. - Bus tokens. - Gas Vouchers. - Clothing Vouchers. - Food. - Basic household furnishings (for the very recently homeless). - Case management. - Prescription Expense Assistance.

- Coordinated Point of Entry: Acts as a centralized hub for all people experiencing homelessness in McLean County. During business hours, callers experiencing homelessness should typically be transferred to Homeless Services. Homeless individuals and families may also be directed to Coordinated Entry to be placed on a housing-related prioritization list. - Outreach for the Homeless: Provides assessment and linkage for people who are HUD homeless. Administers funds for direct services through case managers at the local shelters. Helps in obtaining a birth certificate and ID cards for clients seeking a clearance card in order to stay at one of the local shelters. Can sometimes assist with relocations, bus tokens for medical appointments, and homeless verifications. Completes VI-SPDAT housing assessments with clients in order to add them to the Prioritization List. - Motel funds may be available to homeless families when no other emergency shelter can be found.

Helps you change your legal name and update your government identification documents. Our advocates will guide you through the process and paperwork, and then cut you a check for the entire cost. Applicable for: - Passport. - Driver's License and State ID. - Court Order Name Change. - Immigration Documents. - Tribal IDs. At this time we are not able to offer financial assistance for: - Birth Certificates. - Medical needs or procedures. - Housing.

Other major DMV functions include: - Recording ownership (certificate of title) of the vehicles DMV registers. - Maintaining driving records (accidents and convictions) of licensed drivers. - Issuing identification cards for individuals. - Registering and recording ownership of vessels. - Licensing and regulating driving and traffic violator schools and their instructors. Provides assistance in filling in the “gaps” to help individuals and families overcome barriers to exiting homelessness. Limited services may be available to help imminently homeless individuals obtain or retain a rental unit. Services may include: - Coordinated Assessment. - Obtaining identification. - Employment. - Education. - Health. - Assistance with other related expenses when resources are otherwise unavailable in the community. - Identifying housing.
