When clients understand how the legal system works and what they can realistically expect from it, they become empowered and active participants in the process. A Legal Liaison works and providing support and information to clients providing education, information and referrals. The Legal Liaison will not represent clients or handle cases.

The Humboldt Park Outreach Program (HPOP) focuses its bilingual services on adults and children living in the community to increase their safety, self-esteem, and better understand the resources available to assist them. HPOP is a community-based counseling outreach program for those victims of domestic violence who either have left a shelter and begun independent living or have not yet made the decision to leave their abuser. Clients who are deemed eligible for this program after the intake process may also access free diapers from the agency.
