The goal of IFRP is primarily to serve individuals with limited English proficiency with assistance in applying for or managing cases related to Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, etc. Other types of case management can be provided under IFRP, such as education case management, follow-up with medical providers, Social Security Administration, etc., but it is primarily meant for public benefits assistance and referrals.The IWC similarly serves individuals with limited English proficiency, but its services can include anything related to supporting the needs of immigrant families, such as referrals, medical appointments, school case management, immigration legal services, public benefits, and more.
