Provides full-day, full-year child care for children age 6 weeks through 5 years old. A planned learning program considering specific age & developmental level of the children is scheduled on a regular basis. - Before- and after-school programs are available to children attending Fox Creek & Pepper Ridge Elementary Schools. - Full-day programming for school age children is available when Unit 5 is closed. - Children with some developmental delays and other special needs can be served.

Offers the following types of classrooms: - SMILLE (Sensory Motor Integration Language Learning Environments): Highest level of child support. - Early Childhood Instructional: Special education classrooms (maximum of 10 children). - Blended: Standard classrooms with special education support (maximum of 15 children). - Pre-K: Standard classrooms (maximum of 20 children). -Transitional Kindergarten Classroom-Specified criteria and limited space.

Early Head Start provides educational activities through the High/Scope curriculum.

All diapers, wipes, baby food and formula needed during the day are provided free of charge.

Preschool Program: - Provides preschool education guided by the principles of best practice, early childhood education educators provide each child with choices, challenges, and opportunities that nurture feelings of competence and promote growth in all domains. Infant and Toddler Program: - Providing opportunities to engage in a wide variety of activities where interactions are positive, responsive, and affectionate.

An educational program provided to help prepare children for transition into kindergarten. Health screenings are provided as well as 2/3 of the nutrients a child needs each day. Transportation is available at most locations. The Early Head Start Program is specially designed to meet the unique developmental needs for infants and toddlers from birth to age 36 months. Center based locations are available in Pulaski and Alexander counties. Additionally, there is a home based option available in all counties, which offers a weekly visit from a teacher in the convenience of the family's home along with two special days a month for activities with other families.

Head Start and Early Head Start are comprehensive child development programs that serve children from birth to age five, pregnant women and their families. The programs are child-focused and have the overall goal of increasing the school readiness of young children in low-income families.
