The Beginners program provides instruction to young learners in core subjects including literacy, math, science, and social studies. The program aims to develop emergent skills that are essential to reading and writing, using creative activities and hands-on exploration that correspond to developmental stages and Illinois Learning and Development Standards. The program offers full-day preschool, with care before and after the program to accommodate the schedules of working families.
This program provides full-work day, year-round care and education for preschoolers aged 3 to 5 years old. The program is welcome to both English and Spanish speakers. Families with enrolled children have access to a monthly free diaper drive hosted by the agency.

The Early Childhood Developmental Enrichment Center (ECDEC) and FIND Prevention Initiative provide infant and toddler home visits and preschool to more than 1,200 at-risk families in the northwest Cook County (Illinois) region.

Learning Tree Daycare Center offers a preschool program that focuses on building cognitive performance through child-initiated cooperative play. The teachers introduce children to more structured curriculum and academic concepts in language, literacy, mathematics, and science.

Les Finch's Learning Tree's kindergarten program is open to 5 and 6-year-olds. The children enrolled are exposed to various educational activities. The focus of the program is placed on social and emotional well-being and education. Child care assistance vouchers are accepted.

Center for Independence's The Hope Collective offers the Preschool - Kindergarten Conductive Education program, which provides motor training programs based on the principles of Conductive Education for children with physical disabilities. Physical therapists, occupational therapists, and conductive education teachers work with the participant on improved walking, sitting, eating, and toileting with an emphasis on social skills and school reading. This program meets 3 mornings a week for 2.5 hours.
