Park Ridge Park District offers structured programming for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds that emphasizes socialization and self-expression through manipulatives, art, music, fine and gross motor skills, and hands-on activities. Social-emotional development (not academics) is the main focus for the 2 and 3-year-old programs. The 4-year-old program introduces kindergarten readiness concepts through play-based activities.
Learn Together Grow Together's preschool program serves children 3 to 5 years of age at the center.

Lemont Park District provides formal education focusing on cognitive and social development for young children.
University Village Montessori School (UVMS) provides Montessori preschool education. Children choose their own work from the self-correcting materials displayed on open shelves. The teacher gives small group and individual lessons to children.
Little Hands Pre-School offers age and developmentally appropriate preschool education and play activities. They can enroll 48 students and can accommodate children with special needs. They offer parent speakers and discussions of how to parent, teach and handle the behavior of their children in group family meetings and on an individual basis.
The Goddard School's preschool classrooms are where children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.
Little Village Kidstown provides childcare services during normal working hours for infants and toddlers. Services provided include lunch, Spanish classes, social-emotional learning, motor skills, and music classes.
