Cognitive Educational Evaluation: Includes in-depth interview with parents/guardians to understand concerns and goals; comprehensive diagnostic testing to identify current and potential learning disabilities, strengths and areas for improvement; a thorough analysis of child's cognitive, academic and processing skills; recommendations on the appropriate type and level of intervention and support needed; ongoing communication to discuss results, recommendations and future plans; written report that is complete within two weeks of evaluation. Evaluations are conducted by clinical and school psychologists.
Provides assessments and intervention services for children with disabilities or high risk factors. Offers advocacy and support for 504 and Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs).
Provides special education for students in the Waukegan Community Unit School District.
Special Education: Provides educational testing services to assess the nature and impact of learning disabilities of children and recommend appropriate placements.
