SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM | PROJECT NOW, INC.

Recipients are awarded up to $500 to pursue formal education or occupational training at an accredited Illinois educational institution. Funding is provided through the Community Service Block Grant (CSBG). The program is designed to provide financial assistance to low-income and disadvantaged persons of high academic attainment or potential. Preference is given to applicants of racial or ethnic minorities. Education and training made possible through the scholarships include either general education to achieve short-term training (two years or less) in high technology or growth occupation, or general post-secondary education.

Provides scholarships to assist CSBG eligible low-income undergraduate students with tuition costs. Students must be undergraduates, residents of Macon County, and attend an accredited school in Illinois. Applications are usually taken in June for the Fall semester. If possible, scholarships are distributed early, so the funds can be used to cover the initial cost of tuition that must be paid by the student before school starts.

Aspiring Scholars Scholarship - Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund - Main Office

The Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund awards approximately 130-140 academic scholarships to 8th-grade students each year. The funds may be applied to DMSF partner schools. Recipients of the scholarship have access to in-person and virtual tutoring, college counseling, career days and networking, mentorship opportunities, affinity groups, summer workshops, and access to their alumni network.
