Regulatory program that provides food sanitation inspections and education, as well as inspections for potable water supplies (wells), private sewage disposal, nuisance control, housing, solid waste, insects and rodents, tanning beds, and radon education.

To ensure a high standard of food service sanitation, protect the public from contracting food borne diseases and prevention of disease transmission, all food service establishments within Clinton County are routinely inspected to ensure that Illinois Food Service Sanitation Code requirements are being followed.

Performs inspections for food establishments, water wells, private septic systems, and nuisance and vectors complaints.

Food Sanitation Program: The goal of the program is to protect citizens from contracting and transmitting food-borne illnesses and to educate food service operators and consumers about safe food handling practices.
