Support services include a food pantry for temporary emergency relief for residents and Meals on Wheels for residents of any age based on a needs assessment. The AARP Smart Driver Course, offered by AARP Driver Safety, is the nation's largest classroom and online driver safety course and is designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. Class topics include, but are not limited to, the effects of medication on driving, how to reduce driver distraction, how to maintain the proper following distance behind another car, proper use of safety belts, air bags, anti-lock brakes, and new technology found in cars today, techniques for handling left turns, right-of-way, and roundabouts, age-related physical changes and how to adjust driving to compensate.

Village of Morton Grove provides educational programming and hands-on instruction to maximize safety when operating a vehicle. AARP's "Driver Safety Program" is an eight-hour two-day course for motorists age 55 and older. It focuses on the physical changes that accompany aging and on ways drivers can compensate for these changes in improving their driving skills. Upon completion, drivers may receive a discount on a portion of their automobile insurance. Courses are now offered monthly in Morton Grove. The cost of the course is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. In-person registration is required at the American Legion Memorial Civic Center.
