Screenings include: - Cholesterol/glucose blood tests. - Peripheral artery disease (pad) screening. - Blood pressure screenings. - Personal wellness profile/health risk assessment. - Bone density heel screening. - Health assessments (body composition analysis, body mass index, waist-hip ratio). Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), most common in people over 50 years old, is a medical condition in which arteries in the legs are clogged or narrowed. To promote early detection and treatment, OSF St. Joseph Medical Center is offering PVD screenings to the community or business upon request. Classes, programs, and events can be viewed on website.
