Program is for children and teens under the age of 21 who are enrolled in Iowa Medicaid. Provide services that help children maintain good health with early and periodic screening, diagnosis and treatment benefits. Can also assist families in finding a doctor, dentist, or vision care provider, coordinating care, and providing community referrals.

Administers the Volunteer Physician Program (VPN) that provides specialty care for Central Iowans who are uninsured, underinsured, or undocumented, whose income level is at or under 200% of the federal poverty guidelines, who are not eligible for any government funded programs. This program may be accessed through over 54 Safety Net and Free Clinics of Iowa, Primary Health Care and Proteus by referral, after a patient is financially vetted to qualify financially for this program and not be eligible for any other program.
