Additional Programs and services provided at this time include: - Older Individuals who are blind/low vision. - Free Equipment Loan program. - Amplified phone demonstration. - Emergency services.

Services which include: - Cooperating with doctors, families, and health agencies in the promotion of health and safety. - Blood pressure monitoring and blood glucose screening. - Visiting nurse service for weekly wellness and safety checks. - Nurse advocate for residents of Marseilles related to health care. - Provide equipment and supplies through a medical equipment loan program. - Catering to the elderly of Marseilles and their needs.
Medical equipment that has been donated to this program is loaned out for those in need. Items in the loan closet include wheelchairs, bath/shower stools, walkers, crutches, commodes, etc.

Equipment is available for rent and or purchase. It can be delivered to the home, or if necessary, delivered to the patient's hospital room or extended care facility. For convenience, patients or family members may pick up equipment. Equipment offered: - Oxygen Therapy - including concentrators, cylinders, oxygen-conserving devices, and specialized supplies. - Respiratory Modalities - including pulse oximetry, suction machines, and heavy duty compressors. - Pediatrics - including nebulizers, trach care, and phototherapy. - Ventilators - including specialized supplies, clinical respiratory instruction and consultation, and tracheostomy supplies. - Sleep Program - including BiPAP, CPAP, compliance studies, and specialized supplies. - Apnea Program - including Healthdyne, Edentac, Edentac II studies, and specialized supplies. - Enteral Therapy - including food pumps, food supplements, and specialized supplies. - Durable Medical Equipment - including electric beds, wheelchairs, CPM, walkers, canes, commodes, bathroom aides, and ambulatory aids.
Assists low income individuals with a range of needs including: - Mobility equipment, (e.g., wheelchairs, prostheses, walkers, vehicle modifications). - Ramps and minor house modifications for accessibility. - Medical equipment (not including medical bills). - Prostheses.

Rents and sells medical equipment that helps people maintain independence in the comfort of home. Technicians deliver and install the equipment and spend the necessary amount of time teaching people and caregivers how to use the new equipment and where to call for assistance should the need arise.
Used medical equipment that is available for use by Township residents. Equipment can be on loan for up to 3 months, or more if approved. Common items that are available: - Walkers. - Wheel chairs. - Crutches. - Commodes. - Shower Seats.
Clinicians are available at all hours by phone to answer questions and dispatch someone to the bedside, if necessary. Medical equipment and medications are delivered to the home a well, and respite care provides up to 5 days of Medicare-certified inpatient care for a hospice patient so that family members can take a break from their caregiving duties to relax, unwind, recharge, travel, recover from an illness or attend other events.

- Advocates for the civil rights of individuals with disabilities. - Coordinates public disability awareness activities including presentations to community groups. - Assists individuals with hearing and speech disabilities access communication needs. - Assists with independent living skills training (money management, assertiveness training, self-advocacy, etc.). - Provides information and referral services. - Provides peer mentoring for individual and group settings. - Provides transition services such as moving qualified individuals from nursing facilities or other institutions to independent living. - Assists youth with disabilities transition from high school to adult life. - Provides personal assistant services. - Operates a Community Advocacy Training program for youth and adults. - Assists individuals with vision loss or blindness acquire assistive devices and skills training. - Operates a medical equipment loan program. - Provides mentoring for parents of youth with disabilities. - Operates an ITAC amplified phone selection center.
