- Free meetings led by volunteer Leaders who are experienced with breastfeeding and are accredited by La Leche League International.

- Support between meetings for breastfeeding challenges, such as positioning and latch, being sure the baby is getting enough milk, soreness, pumping and milk storage, etc.

- Teaches parents about the ages and stages of breastfeeding.

- Creates a community of support by bringing breastfeeding families together.

Breastfeeding Support Programs
Open to moms, dads and interested family members, this one-time, two-hour class discusses issues related to breast feeding. Topics include the advantages of breast feeding, proper latching on, milk production, breast care, nutrition and breast pumps. It is designed for mothers who are in or beyond their 6th month of pregnancy.

Offers free group-education classes on subjects such as Wellness, managing or prevent diabetes, heart disease, or obesity.

Positive Parenting, focusing on discipline, temperament and development, and sibling rivalry.

Lawndale Christian Health Center (LCHC) clinics offers women's well-care services, such as gynecological exams and well-woman visits. LCHC offers free pregnancy tests at all sites on a walk-in basis or by appointment. Prenatal care is offered in two models: Traditional pregnancy care or Centering pregnancy groups.
