On-site day rehabilitation is a one to six staffed program focused on skill building. This program assists developmentally disabled consumers in developing skills in the areas of independent living and social interaction.
The Day Program: Provides independent living skills training, vocational training, a workshop, job finding assistance and transportation for adults with developmental disabilities or mental health conditions.

North Center provides an adult day training program for clients for as long as it is needed, regardless of their skill levels. Physical, speech therapy, social work and nursing services are available when necessary. North Center's Adult Day Service Program is funded by the Department of Human Services, private funds, and donations. The program serves individuals with developmental disabilities. Their staff works with clients and their families/guardians to help them develop individual Service Plans that will meet their specific needs.

Life Club takes place on site at Camp Sunnyside as well as in the Des Moines area community. The program provides training in skills like socializing, communication, problem solving, creative thinking, peer relationships and more. Life Club clients make friends, get out to see different community attractions, choose and lead activities they enjoy. Team members focus on strengths and independence as clients participate in activities.

Clients Socially Integrated is a community-based day program for adults with disabilities focused on learning transferable skills that lead to independence in the community. This is achieved by spending the day out in the community, learning to navigate the public transportation system, relationship building, problem solving and deciding as a group what activities to do. Communication, safety, transportation and independent skills are sharpened as clients visit historical sites, volunteer, visit coffee shops, go to movies and much more.

CTF Illinois Community Day Services are weekday programs that provide a structured learning environment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to acquire new skills while increasing interaction with their peers and community. The focus of Community Day Services (CDS) is on learning new skills, based on individual abilities and interests while having fun. Skill development is offered in the areas of sensory enhancement, independent living, communication, vocational, academic, recreation and leisure, wellness, and social skills.
