The Missouri Care Options (MCO) program offers information to Missouri citizens about making choices regarding the variety of care options available to them when they may need long-term care. MCO offers home and community long-term care services to adults (18 years and older) who are Medicaid eligible, or potentially Medicaid eligible, and in need of assistance. The Department of Health and Senior Services is committed to helping people live as independently as possible. MCO also offers individuals who reside in long-term care facilities the option of home and community long-term care services if they qualify for care in a more independent setting.
Certified Nurse Attendants assist persons with personal care such as bathing, grooming and dressing. They work towards helping persons become independent in these areas and are directly supervised by a Registered Nurse.
