Community employment services places individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in jobs throughout the Quad Cities Area. Job developers assess the needs of the employers as well as the skills and abilities of the individuals seeking employment.

Staff provide individualized, one-on-one support adapting to the work environment. Job coaches advise individuals in career development and guide through transitions such as changes in supervisors; schedule/shift changes; and conflict management and are available for extra support throughout employment.

Provides vocational evaluation services to determine appropriate vocational goals and identify barriers which may interfere with success. May include vocational counseling and exploration testing, work samples, trial tours, and community based assessment.
Provides vocational assessments with the client and includes clinical and collateral interviews, mental status examination, personality testing, cognitive testing, review of records, and, if required, and attention/impulsivity testing. Assessments are to determine if client have a mental health condition, attention problem or learning disability that would adversely affect his/her ability to secure and maintain employment.
Provides vocational evaluation services to determine appropriate vocational goals and identify barriers which may interfere with success. May include vocational counseling and exploration, testing, work samples, trial tours and community based assessment.
Helps persons with disabilities to find and acquire full or part time work in their communities. Offers a day program designed to give persons with disabilities the opportunity to grow skill sets and explore life, no matter how severe their disability. Services include: - Day Programs. - Work skills evaluation. - In-house/on-site community job placement. - Vocational case management. - Young adult employment services. - Transportation services. - Life skills mentoring. - Recreation and leisure. - Home Base Services.
