Provides employment transitioning skills to those individuals who are moving from SSI and SSDI to meaningful employment
Assists veterans and transitioning service members by connecting businesses with qualified veterans looking for career opportunities. Resources help veterans and their families with education and in transitioning to a new community with focused support and individuals who want to help.
During employment services, individuals will go through job exploration, job shadowing, informational interviewing, assessment of interests, labor market research and informal or formal assessment and consultation. This can also go in conjunction with supported employment, pre-vocational training, residential and/or day habilitation services.
EDDR Corporation assists individuals with finding job openings and re-entering the workforce.
FIFTY+ is a new program specifically designed to help women age 50 and older enter or re-enter the workforce. Research shows that older women face special challenges in their job search. The program is offered monthly to cohorts of 10-15 women who meet twice per week for two weeks. A new cohort begins every month at their various Southside and West Side locations.
