IowaWorks of Decorah provides a Veteran's Employment Specialist to assist with coordinating counseling, testing, and identifying training and employment opportunities for veterans.

Comprehensive Job Assistance Centers
Provides services for unemployed veterans needing assistance re-entering the workforce. Services include entrepreneurial opportunities, networking events, career counseling, job training, and more.
Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) services to help with job training, employment accommodations, resume development, and job seeking skills coaching. Other services may be provided to assist Veterans and Servicemembers in starting their own businesses.
Free career development services to veterans and former military regardless of discharge status. Services are aimed at helping veterans utilize their transferable skills to career in civilian life. The program includes 8 hours of face-to-face learning, or the program can be completed independently.
