The Love and Friendship Adoption Center provides fostering and adoption services for dogs and cats. The Center also provides education on the humane treatment of animals through public events. The center welcomes volunteers and relies on donations to continue to provide services. Lower cost micro-chipping and registration services are also available at the center.

South Suburban Humane Society strives to provide access to veterinary care for everyone with the aim to bridge the gap between high-quality service and affordability. Services may include wellness visits, surgery, microchipping, dental cleanings, or heartworm treatments.

Provides state-mandated and County services relating to animal control and animal protection, such as: Low cost Spay/Neuter Assistance to qualified pet owners; Low-Cost Pet Rabies Vaccinations through Lake County veterinarians (All dogs and cats 4 months and older in Lake County are required to be vaccinated against rabies and registered.); and Microchips.
