Village of Bedford Park offers many services to senior residents ages 65 and over. By offering these services, the village is striving to encourage independence for senior adults through advocacy and assistance.

Provides personal emergency response and supportive services through Philips Lifeline. Personal help button and Lifeline units are placed in subscriber homes.
Lifeline Alert System: Notifies emergency personnel in case of fall, medical emergency, or any other emergency of elderly living in their homes.
Provides SafeLink Personal Emergency Response System that gives people access to help 24 hours/day.
The Illinois Department on Aging's subsidized in-home care program provides a variety of services for older adults who need assistance with activities of daily living regularly. Services provided by the Community Care program include homemakers services, adult day care, automated medication dispensers, and emergency home response systems.

*Appointments are required for application assistance. Call 847-432-3240 to schedule appointments.* Provides medical alert system for client's neck or wrist. Transmits a signal to a 24/7 emergency monitoring center. Operators assess the situation and dispatch help if needed. Operators stay on the line until they are sure help has arrived. Township boundaries do not follow municipal or zip code boundaries. Verify the Township residency of clients prior to contacting the Township for services. Norwood Seniors Network has aging care experts who create peace of mind by developing solutions to meet each client's unique and complex needs. As people age, navigating the intricacies of the medical system becomes increasingly difficult. Their knowledgeable care managers develop long and short-term plans allowing seniors to experience the highest quality of life possible.
CareLink Connect: Provides home health patients with a small personal help button to reach a nurse in case of a fall, emergency or sudden illness.
Pathlights assesses for in-home services. If you qualify, they can arrange services from non-medical care providers that assist managing daily household activities, such as light housework, laundry, and shopping assistance. In addition, they can assess your need for other services such as home-delivered meals, emergency home response systems, automatic medication dispensers, and adult day services.
