Village of Arlington Heights offers a Holiday Assistance Program for families in need. Residents and businesses sponsor these families and donate gifts and gift cards.
Salvation Army partners with Toys For Tots and Midwest Food Bank to provide toys and a Christmas food box for families/individuals in need.
Provides food baskets (or occasionally vouchers) for holiday meals at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. For children, provides toys around Christmas and other small gift baskets at Easter.

Elk Grove Village offers holiday programs available to qualified residents at Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Children receive gifts at Christmas that are provided by donors.
Toys and coat drive that provides donated toys and coats to local children. Toys and coats available at Sacred Heart Banquet Hall in Joliet, IL.
Children's Christmas Party is offered for low-income families. Gift and food distribution will take place at the Midwest Food Bank, 2031 Warehouse Road, Normal (off of Northtown Road, north of I-55 in Normal). This will be a drive-in, drive-out event and packages will be loaded in vehicles. Children do not need to be present to receive a gift.
Each holiday season, provides Christmas gifts to families in need throughout the community.

Children partner with police officers to shop for gifts for their parents and siblings during the holiday season.
OMNI's Family Resource Program primarily serves the communities of Prospect Heights and Wheeling. Although the program provides services that address basic immediate needs, the focus is to promote self-sufficiency and increase participation in the community.
