Parents as Teachers: A parent-child early education program for children prenatal through kindergarten entry providing personalized home visits by a certified parent educator, group meetings for parents and children, screenings for health and development and referral for help when appropriate.
Provides in-home weekly visits from a family educator who provides early education, physical and mental health, nutrition, social services and transportation to secure health care and linkage to community services.
The Parenting Network: A voluntary home visiting program provides monthly home visits to enrolled families.

An educational program provided to help prepare children for transition into kindergarten. Health screenings are provided as well as 2/3 of the nutrients a child needs each day. Transportation is available at most locations. The Early Head Start Program is specially designed to meet the unique developmental needs for infants and toddlers from birth to age 36 months. Center based locations are available in Pulaski and Alexander counties. Additionally, there is a home based option available in all counties, which offers a weekly visit from a teacher in the convenience of the family's home along with two special days a month for activities with other families.

A voluntary home visiting program that helps new and expectant parents strengthen their family's functioning and reduce their risk for child abuse and/or neglect. The program provides guidance about child development, child safety, and good parenting skills while providing support to the family. Doula services are also available. This includes prenatal information and support, labor coaching, breastfeeding, postpartum depression support, and assistance in the early weeks after childbirth. Prenatal support groups are also available.

CCAC provides free home visitation, support groups, and supportive services to income qualifying pregnant women and parents with children from birth to age three living in and around the Roseland area.Families are visited in their home by a parent coach who support parents as their child's first teacher. Parents learn about healthy child development and practice parenting techniques to enhance bonding and family well-being. Pregnant women are provided support and resources as they prepare for the birth of their child.

Illinois Action For Children offers Home Visiting for pregnant women and families of infants, toddlers, and twos. Parent educators will partner with you, in your home (or one of the Early Learning Centers), in three key areas: Child-centered parenting, Parent-child interaction and Family well-being.
Parents as Teachers promotes the optimal early development, learning and health of children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers. This program is a research based, home visiting program that builds on the concept that parents are in the best position to influence their child's readiness to learn. Parents as Teachers provides specific, timely information about child development in the family home, or at another comfortable setting. Parents learn what they can do to provide their children with a positive start in life that will help ensure their success in school. The program includes home visits, parent group meetings, developmental screenings and a resource network.

Offers home visitation program. Parent educators visit homes to offer support and information about the changing needs of children. Focuses on children as born learners who learn best from their parents. Serves families who are expecting a child as well as those with children up to five years of age who live in Fremont and Page Counties.

A long term, home visiting program for parents or caregivers residing in Dallas, Madison, Warren, Marion, or Jasper Counties with a child aged prenatal to three. The PAT Program provides family support, parenting education, developmental screening and connection to community resources. The program provides twice monthly home visits to families, always bringing a parent/child activity that will encourage the child's development. The goal of the program is to assist parents in practicing development centered parenting so that their child is healthy, ready to learn and succeed.

Childhood immunizations, flu shots, education and home visits to teen moms, cancer screening on site, child psychologist on site, breastfeeding assistance, smoking cessation for pregnant women, TB treatment, help finding a doctor or dentist, help with finding medication or other care, Every Women Matters Education and Outreach, Denver Developmental Screening, and case management to reduce lead and other hazard exposure.

Family resource program to support parents in educating and nurturing their children. The program provides parents with opportunities to move toward self-sufficiency by working with other community organizations. Health and mental health services are also provided to participants.

Program helps parents better understand their child's stages of development with individualized visits in the home. The weekly visits are 90 minutes in length and are designed to meet the needs of each family. Staff will assist families in planning activities that encourage the child's growth. Social activities will be held twice monthly to provide the opportunity to interact with your child and other families.
