River Oaks Community Education and Development Corporation (ROC ED) provides a time for fun, enrichment, and extended learning for kindergarten to seventh-grade youth. Youth participate in structured and unstructured activities under the supervision of experienced teachers and trained staff. Youth experience various activities to strengthen their learning, character, and physical health. Youth receive a lunch and light afternoon snack.

Kids Above All's Camp Sheilah Program, an annual bereavement camp founded by the Sheilah A. Doyle Foundation in 2011, helps children ages 7-17 whose parent, legal guardian or sibling have been victims of homicide on their healing journey. Campers who attend the three-day event participate in fun activities like rock climbing and zip lining that challenge them to do things that they normally wouldn't do, building resilience and helping them learn how to navigate difficult situations.
