Parks and recreation department serving the city of Rockford. Provides a wide range of activities for individuals of all ages. Lewis Lemon Community Center (LLCC) and Washington Park Community Center (WPCC) also offer sports programs for youth.

LLCC and WPCC Sports: Community center members are invited to participate in various sports teams. All practices take place on site. Competitions take place between local community centers and other not for profit organizations.

Offers a variety of activities and classes which include youth and adult athletic leagues, before and after school CARE program, and special events throughout the year. Activities are held in community facilities throughout Sugar Grove. Before and after school programs are held in elementary schools throughout the district.

Provides a leisure environment with programs, parks, facilities, and services. Works to preserve and protect open land and water areas in an effort to improve the quality of life for local residents.

Programs and activities include, but are not limited to:

- Recreational activities (toddlers - senior adults).

- Dog park.

- Gold center.

- Ice rinks.

Provides and maintains a 25 acre park in Elburn with a club house, playground, and baseball and softball fields. Banquet hall and pavilion are available to rent. The Club also has collection sites for glasses and hearing aids for donation in coordination with the Lions in Illinois Foundation.

Offers a number of recreational programs and classes for youth, adults, and special populations, such as for people who have developmental disabilities. Among other offerings are the Scovill Activity Center (seniors), Lakeshore Landing (a park on the shores of Lake Decatur), and Scovill Zoo.
