YMCA of Metro Chicago - Buehler YMCA provides financial assistance for people to participate in programs they couldn't otherwise afford. A waiver or reduction of fees is available subject to facility and program capacity, and demonstrated need, without regard to race, color, nationality, religion, gender, age, or disability.

Recreational Scholarships are offered for low-income children for West Des Moines Parks and Rec offerings. Low income families can also apply for reduced pool passes which allows unlimited admittance all summer to the Holiday Park Aquatic Center, Valley View Aquatic Center. Applications for reduced pool passes begins in April of each year.

Village of Arlington Heights offers scholarships for Park District programs available for families who qualify based on household income and family size. The Park Scholarship allows residents to enroll in two programs per session for each member of the family. In addition to classes, the scholarship may also cover other activities, such as pool passes and summer camps. The Children At Play (C.A.P.) scholarship provides financial support for before and after school programming.
