Westside Health Authority (WHA)'s Good Neighbor Campaign is a community-based movement that connects neighbors, empowering them to share their abilities and talents, i.e., gifts, with one another in order to realize a shared vision of a healthy, loving, and supportive community. The Good Neighbor Campaign is a coming together of concerned citizens, local churches, neighborhood institutions, and youth with a mission to build a village by connecting with neighbors in the Austin community.

Provides activities that are centered around a weekly theme. A typical day includes, active group game, crafts, clubs, free play, 30-minute break time with age-appropriate math and reading activities. Youth leaders have specialized training prior to start of camp and are CPR /First Aid certified. Children bring a lunch daily.

Holds special activities and gatherings for members and their extended families. Donates to other groups or causes which provide benefit and support to people with Down syndrome including UCP and the Springfield Parks Foundation for the purchase of accessible playground equipment at Springfield's Washington Park.

Waukon City Park offers horseshoe courts; outdoor swimming pool; sand volleyball courts; 4 large and 5 small shelters with grills, additional grills located throughout the park; three small playgrounds and 1 large playground (Hideaway Park); campground with facilities; hikers trail; and fishing pond. Depending on the weather, an ice skating rink will be open is located at the park for use.
