Provides information and assistance to caregivers of any age who are caring for someone age 60 or older. Services include needs assessment and assistance in accessing services needed by either the caregiver or the older person to relieve the stress and physical/financial burden of caregiving. Offers support groups to women who are having trouble with infertility. Meetings are held monthly at the Marion Public Library in Marion, IA.
Lawndale Christian Health Center (LCHC) offers specialized treatment for patients with a substance use disorder (SUD). Many of their Providers have received certification to offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which is available at all clinic sites. MAT combines the use of medication and behavioral health therapies to treat SUD, sustain recovery, and prevent overdose. LCHC's Recovery Community meets in The Gallery (3824 W Ogden Ave) and offers group therapy and activities for patients on their recovery journey. Walk-ins are welcome.
