Provides a program for young adults and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who wish to socialize, meet new friends, learn new skills, share talents, connect with their community, or practice skills needed for greater independence. Activities may include: - Gardening. - Arts and crafts. - Special speakers. - Music. - Book reading/discussion. - Games. - Lessons about fun topics like states. - Wacky holidays. - Animals.

Programs for adults include: - Epilepsy Art Program: A way for adults with epilepsy to use art as a form of expression. - HOBSCOTCH: Designed to help find ways to manage and cope with memory problems in order to lead a happier, more productive life.

Offers a recurring event, every last Friday of the month for individuals in the recovery community.

Provides information and resources about Down Syndrome to individuals with Down Syndrome, family members, and health professionals. Also offers opportunities for development of self-advocacy, leadership, and public speaking skills for individuals with Down Syndrome.

- Assists blind and visually impaired individuals of all ages by transcribing materials on all subjects into large print, braille, and audio. - Provides indirect services through public/private facilities and cultural organizations to make their programs and physical plants accessible. - Sponsors an outreach community organization, The Weekenders, which provides opportunities for blind and visually impaired people to attend a wide variety of social and cultural events in the Chicagoland area. - Processes monthly billing statements in braille, large print, and audio for utilities and banks. - Store is available at the main location to purchase helpful products from the gadget gallery and devices.

Provides a variety of social programs for individuals with disabilities. Programs help participants develop social and life skills, as well as eye-hand coordination, balance, fine and gross motor skills and sensory processing.
Programs are offered for individuals with disabilities to provide opportunities for socialization, to learn or improve a leisure skill, and to integrate into the community.
Social and recreational activities for children and families of children in Chicagoland living with a chronic health condition.

Programs are offered for individuals with disabilities to provide opportunities for socialization, to learn or improve a leisure skill, and to integrate into the community.
Offers social activities for people with disabilities to meet peers with similar interests and build friendships. Limited scholarships are available for residents of the nine member park districts.

Offers monthly get togethers to children with disabilities for an opportunity to make friendships, foster peer relationships, and develop social skills. Services include fun crafts, games, and activities, while also hanging out with friends and experiencing new things within the community.

Provides regular monthly meetings in Springfield at which there are general discussions regarding their life experiences and the activities in which they and their family are involved. Also offers programs and provides speakers on subjects which are of particular interest to members, as well as other families having a member with disabilities other than Down syndrome.
