BE GREAT: Graduate is a comprehensive, targeted dropout prevention intervention designed to enhance youths’ engagement with learning by providing consistent support from caring and trusted adults to develop the academic, emotional and social skills necessary to achieve academic success. Provides youth with physical education and athletics, tutoring, cultural exposure, counseling, music, special interest clubs, computer lab, arts and crafts.

GSGBC’s Program takes place at both our Dutchtown and Soulard campuses, as well as afterschool at St. Frances Cabrini Academy. Programs are offered in six competency areas: Academic Support & Assistance; Athletics, Aquatics, & Recreation; Character Building; Healthy Living; Visual & Performing Arts; and College & Career Readiness, all in a trauma-informed framework. This provides youth with tools to acquire skills and strengthen academic performance, while developing relationships and building confidence with a network of motivated peers.

Offers a program focusing on developing literacy skills, social/emotional learning, and the important academic and life transitions middle school students experience as they transition to high school. Designed for middle school students ages 13-16. Also creates opportunities for parent and student engagement.

Adolescent pregnancy 4-component prevention program for girls 9-18 years old.

Pathfinders Mentoring Program matches girls, ages 5-16, with professional women in the Omaha business community to work on academic and personal goals. Scholarships may be awarded at the end of the successful completion of high school and the Pathfinders program.
